How to Blog with Your Nokia C3

I'm sure you've already fiddled with your phone's Mail and Twitter application - this is probably what made you buy the phone in the first place. But do you know that you can *blog* straight from your Nokia C3?

Here's how to do it via Posterous.

Posterous is a blogging site that helps put your posts online via email. Since the Nokia C3 has a built-in email app and a camera, it's perfect for sharing fleeting thoughts and drive-by pictures.

To setup your Posterous:

[On your phone]

  1. Take an interesting picture.
  2. Go to Photos, My Photos, then choose the picture you want to post.
  3. Press Options (the left selection key), then choose Send >> Nokia Email.
  4. On the 'To:' field, type in post@posterous.com.
  5. On the "Subject:' field, type something that will describe the picture. (A witty remark is perfect.)
  6. Press 'Send' (the middle key)
  7. Open the Mail app after sending.
  8. After refreshing the Mail app, you'll see that Posterous had already replied.
  9. Take note of the Posterous address given to you, i.e. the your_name+posterous.com hyperlink.
[On your desktop]

  1. Direct your browser to the Posterous address.
  2. Click on "Claim this Site".
  3. Follow the directions to finalize your Posterous blog.
It's this easy. I made mine just a couple of minutes ago and this was the result.

(Be sure to follow me, okay?)
